To Replace Your Produce Preserver:

1) Find the Produce Preserver housing inside the refrigerator.
2) Open the housing by pulling up and out on the back.
3)Remove the Produce Preserver pouches from the packaging and place them into the housing. NOTE: For best performance, always use two pouches.
4)Adhere the Produce Preserver housing to the back wall of the crisper drawer according to the instructions included in the package.

What is ethylene and how does it affect food?

Fruits and vegetables produce a naturally occurring hormone called Ethylene. In addition to controlling several aspects of the normal growth and development, ethylene also induces natural ripening in fruits and vegetables. In fact, a number of fruits and vegetables emit small amounts of ethylene gas during their ripening process. These emissions lead to an increased level of ethylene gas in the air. This in turn threatens the life cycle of post-harvest fruits and vegetables. Our preservers work by absorbing the ethylene gas that produce naturally gives off. This in turn lengthens the life of produce.

In this bundle, you will receive enough preservers for 4 uses. They are bundled together in packs of 2 sachets, one for each crisper drawer (most refrigerators have two crisper drawers) for a total of 8 sachets. Each pack can last up to 6 months. The indicator strips have a self-stick backing to attach them. Simply press the button on the strip to activate.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (WITH PRODUCE PRESERVER SYSTEMS): 1) Open the housing and remove the old satchets. Place them in the trash. 2) Open the Impresa Replacement Pack and remove 2 satchets. Reseal the package to preserve the effectiveness of the remaining satchets. 3) Insert both satchets and snap the housing closed. 4) Replace every 6 months. PLEASE NOTE: Our replacement pack does not come with 6 month timers (provided with OEM replacement packs) in order to provide the best value to our customers. In order to change the satchets at the proper time, we recommend setting a calendar reminder or writing the date that the satchets need to be replaced on a small piece of tape and sticking it to the produce preserver housing (just like the reminder for your oil change). STORAGE: Please ensure that the packaging holding the additional satchets is firmly sealed once you have removed the necessary replacements. To Replace Your Produce Preserver:

1) Locate the filter cover at the top of the interior wall of the refrigerator
2) Lift open the vented door
